Written by Fatma Abid

The Intelligence Engine Analysis feature gives you a visual overview of your entire customer base, grouped into clear segments. You can use it to understand who your customers are, how they behave, and what actions to take next.

Access the Analysis feature

To open the Analysis feature in Acteol SE Evo:

  1. Click the menu icon on the left of your screen, then select the Intelligence Engine.

  2. Select Analysis from the Intelligence Engine menu.

Understand your KPIs

At the top of the Analysis page, you'll find a row of four KPIs that give you an at-a-glance summary of your customer base.

Total customers

The total number of customers in your database with segment assignments. Only includes customers with at least one transaction in the defined period related to your RFM template.

Total revenue

The sum of direct and indirect spend generated from all segmented customers.

Average customer value

The average revenue per customer across all your segments, showing the typical financial value each customer has generated since their first purchase. Higher values indicate a more valuable customer base.

Average customer visits

The average number of visits per customer across all segments. Higher visit frequency indicates stronger customer loyalty and engagement.

View customer segment distribution

Below the KPIs, the Customer Segment Distribution shows how your customers are spread across nine segments, giving you a clear view of the makeup of your audience.

🤓Tip: Each segment is defined by customer purchasing behaviour and engagement levels. You can click any segment to view detailed insights and recommended actions.

Champions

Your best customers. They buy often, spend the most, and have engaged recently. These are your brand advocates and most valuable segment.

Loyal Customers

Regular customers who purchase frequently and consistently. They form a stable base for your business.

Potential Loyalist

Recent customers who have shown good purchase behaviour and high engagement. They have the potential to become Champions.

Promising

Recent shoppers with good potential. Prime candidates for conversion to loyal customers.

Need Attention

Customers who have made repeat purchases but are showing declining engagement patterns. They represent a significant revenue opportunity if re-engaged properly.

Can't Lose Them

Previously your most valuable customers with high purchase frequency and spend. Now showing signs of disengagement and at high risk of churning to competitors.

At Risk

Customers who used to purchase regularly but haven't engaged recently. Require immediate attention to prevent churn.

About To Sleep

Customers with low average spend and declining engagement. At risk of becoming dormant without intervention.

Hibernating

Long-inactive customers with low purchase frequency and monetary value. Lowest priority for reactivation efforts.

View segment detail

Selecting any segment tile opens a detailed panel on the right side of the screen. This shows the segment's value metrics, age distribution, loyalty membership status, and location breakdown.

Below the segment detail panel, you'll find a summary of who that segment is and a list of recommended actions.

These suggestions are tailored to help you maintain the segment's status or improve their position in the segmentation model. For example, helping Loyal Customers progress to Champions.

Create a campaign from a segment

You can act on the recommended actions directly from the segment detail view.

  • Select Create Campaign to automatically build a campaign framework with the selected segment pre-populated in the sender list.
