View a contact's interactions

You can view a contact's transactions, website tracking, bookings, visits, and other interactions in a few easy steps.

To view a contact's key interactions, follow the steps below:

  1. Click SCV, then click Search Contact.

  2. Search for the contact, then click the Edit icon.

  3. Click Interactions, then select an option:

    • Website Tracking.

    • Transactions.

    • Bookings.

    • Visits.

    • Other Interactions.

πŸ€“ Tip: You can filter by brand or time using the options on the top-right of the page.

Website tracking

To sort and filter your results, next to Page Name or Visit Date, click the three-dot menu image.png, then select:

  • Sort Ascending

  • Sort Descending

  • Columns

    • ID

    • Page Name

    • Date

  • Filter

    • Use the options to show items with a specific value.

This is a list of the web pages and contact visit times.

Transactions

These are listed in date order from newest to oldest.

Paid transactions have a green border on the left of the transaction.

For more details, click the arrow at the bottom of the transaction.

Key transaction information is listed, including spend, location, time and date, Transaction ID, and order type including Dine-in, Collection etc.

Transaction details are provided by the PoS or third party in transaction calls. If all the details are present, such as product code or discounts, they display in product order.

Bookings

To change the view to a table, click the table image.png icon. On the table view, to export all bookings to Excel, click Export to Excel.

The reservation ID is displayed on the top left of each booking. Below this is the reservation reference, this may match the reservation ID.

Booking details include:

  • Reservation Date: The time a contact made a booking.

  • Booking Date: The time of the booking.

  • Source: The booking source.

  • Total amount: How much was spent on a completed booking.

  • Visitors: The number of guests on the booking.

  • Location: The site of the booking.

  • Booking status: When a booking is updated it displays at the bottom.

Visits

Visits are shown in a timeline. To change the view to a chart, click the chart image.png icon.

You can see the number of visits per month, to select a new date range, from the Lifetime list, select a new date range.

Here, you can see the date, location, source and transaction value of the visit.

Other interactions

The data displays in table format. Each section has it's own filters that you can use to view specific data.

Here you can see the:

  • Visits.

  • Wireless.

  • Bookings.

  • Transactions.

  • Gift cards.

  • Gift card transactions.

  • Subscriptions.
