Operation | Description | Examples |

| If you use And between the selected criteria, the returned contacts match all specified criteria. | If you select the criteria of Female and 25-34, it returns anyone in the database who's female and aged between 25 and 34. |
Or
| If you use Or between the selected criteria, the returned contacts match any one of the specified criteria. | If you select the criteria of Male or 35-44, it returns anyone in the database who's either male or aged between 34 and 44. |
A minus B | If you use A minus B between the selected criteria, you can find the result of your first (A) node, and subtract anyone in your second (B) node. The order in which you select your nodes is important; make sure the main A node comes first, and the secondary B node that you want to exclude comes second.
| If you use A minus B for Female and 45-54, it returns anyone in the database who is Female but not aged between 45 and 54. |
πNote: You can use combinations of any of the operations.
For example: select the Male node or female, and 25-34.
You can see how many people match your search criteria in the top right, near the people group icon.
To remove nodes or operations, click the three dots
by the operation or the node, and click Remove.
Save a selection
After having created your selection, you can save it and have access to it for future uses.
To save your selection after having created it, follow the steps below:
Click the Save
icon, then name your selection.If required, select a category and add a description.
Click Save.
Open a saved selection
After having created and saved your selection, you can access it for future use.
To open a saved selection from the contact segmentation section, follow the steps below:
From the Contact Selection section, click the Open
icon.Filter with the name that you have previously chosen for your selection.
To add the selection, click the Open
icon.To modify the selection, click the three dots
then click Display Selection Profile.
π€Tip: If it's an old selection, adjust the date filter from the top of the pop-up accordingly.
