Segment customers based on their segment

You can segment your customers based on their visit frequency bands to identify their segment. You can reward high-value customers, re-engage those at risk, and create personalised campaigns that boost retention and lifetime value.

To segment your customers based on pre-set visit frequency bands, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Single Customer View module, then click Contact Segmentation.

  2. For the node Segment, click the arrow to expand the relevant nodes.

  3. Drag and drop the relevant nodes for the required criteria.

πŸ“ŒNote: the segments are based on the visit frequency, meaning it represents only the customers whose visits are tracked through your integrated third-party systems and walk-ins are excluded.

Loyal

The top 10% segment of visitors in the last 12 months by visit frequency.

Frequent

The next 20% segment, 10% to 30%, of visitors in the last 12 months by visit frequency.

Occasional

The next 20% segment, 30% to 50%, of visitors in the last 12 months by visit frequency.

Infrequent

The bottom 50% segment, 50% to 100%, of visitors in the last 12 months by visit frequency.

Lapsed

Customers who haven't visited in the last 12 months.

Long-term lapsed

Customers who haven't visited in the last 24+ months.

Never

Customers who are in the database but we've never tracked a visit for.
