Create and manage customer tags

You can easily create and manage tags to assign to your customers' contact profiles according to the criteria you set.

Create a tag group

Before you can create new tags that you can assign to your customers' contact profiles, you have to create a tag group by following the steps below:

  1. Click your Username icon.

  2. Click Settings, then click the Customer Tags icon.

  3. From the Manage Tag Groups section, click the Add a Tag Group icon.

  4. Enter a Group Name.

  5. Click Add.


Create a tag

After creating the tags group, you can create distinct tabs under a specific tags group by following the steps below:

  1. From the All Tags section, select the relevant tags group.

  2. In the Manage Tags section, click the Add a Tag icon.

  3. Enter a tag name.

  4. Choose the tag image.

    • To choose an existing image, click Library.

    • To choose an image from your computer, click Browse.

  5. To assign the customer criteria for the tag, click the magnifying glass icon.

  6. From the lists, select the criteria:

    • A Selection: Contacts a selection that you've previously built.

    ๐Ÿค“Tip: A selection can be an intersection of multiple nodes or multiple selections. Please refer to the data segmentation tools article to know which linking operator to use.

    • A Node: Any data tree node whose contacts need the tag.

    ๐Ÿค“Tip: This is applicable for the nodes under the import node, in case you want to tag any manually imported customer lists.

  7. Click Add.

Now, after the data refresh, the customer profiles will have the relevant tags assigned to them.
