Acteol SE users types

In Acteol SE, there are two main types of users.

Primary users

  • Primary users have full access to the Acteol SE system, which is the highest access level.

  • They can see the Acteol SE set-up page.

  • The primary users belong to a group named after the system's chosen name, usually flagged as the business name.

Super users

  • Super users have access to the system.

  • Super users don't have access to the Acteol SE set-up page.

  • The super users belong to a group named super users.

πŸ€“Tip: Sometimes the primary users when they create new super users for their teams, miss assigning the locations correctly, which results in having this error message: "You do not appear to be fully set up to send communications.

Please contact your system administrator to amend this if you wish to send a message." This can be corrected easily by a primary user by following the steps listed in this article.

πŸ“ŒNote: The onboarding and support teams users have different user types, which is labeled as administrators.
