    • If the journey isn't complete, you'll get an error message advising what you need to complete.

Pause a journey

  2. By the relevant journey, click the Edit icon.

  3. Click Pause, then click Pause again.

Pause statuses

There are two pause statuses that do different things:

  • Stop journey with all running cycles.

    • Hard stop of the journey to prevent new contacts from entering it.

    • Running cycles don't complete.

    • Status = Pause (Stop).

  • Complete running cycles and stop.

    • No new cycles start, but the running cycles still complete.

    • You can only edit the journey once the running cycles complete.

    • Status = Pause (Completing).

Reactivate a journey

To reactivate a journey, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Journey icon.

  2. By the relevant journey, click the Edit icon.

  3. Click Activate, then click Activate again.

  4. If you're reactivating the journey after making modifications to its logic, you'll have these options:

    • Include contacts that have already completed the existing journey: All contacts that had completed the existing journey are now included in the new logic.

    • Activate without inclusion of contacts that have completed the existing journey: This excludes the contacts that had already completed the journey from receiving the new logic.
