Review non-delivery reasons
A campaign can have some errors due to several reasons:
DNS Error
Recipient domain cannot be found or reached.
Domain name may be invalid, misspelled, or DNS servers are unavailable.
First Hard Bounce:
Permanent delivery failure on the first attempt.
Recipient email address is invalid, non-existent, or domain does not accept emails.
Number of Trial More Than 15
Email delivery was attempted more than 15 times.
Maximum retry limit reached without successful delivery.
Other Error
Generic error that does not fit predefined categories.
Usually caused by unknown or unexpected responses from the recipient's mail server.
Rejected by the Business Rules Applied
Email blocked by configured business rule in the Acteol SE settings.
Manage the non-delivered email items
You can push the send of the non-delivered email items for the rejected by the business rules applied type. To do this, follow the below steps:
â ď¸Important: In order to successfully push the send of the non-delivered items that were rejected by the business rule applied, the campaign shouldn't be expired. To verify this, check the Expiry date field for the campaign. If the campaign is expired, reach out to the support team to help you with the push of the items.
By the relevant campaign, on the channel actions, click the edit
icon.Select the Valid Recipients tab, then click Resend Errors.
Select the error message Rejected by the business rules applied.
đ¤Tip: Alternatively, you can try to push the other error types, but there is no garentee that these items will be successfully delivered. This includes:
DNS Error.
First Hard Bounce
Number of trial more than 15
Other Error
Click Send.
